I was just listening to Brenda Dayne and nearly spit tea out of my nose when this song got going. This is not from the current episode of Cast On it is actually from Episode 9, but I'm just now starting from the beginning and listening to them all. For those of you that have already heard it, it's time you laugh again. For those that have never heard this...don't drink anything while you listen. And when you are done...don't forget to play it for your husband so he can laugh too.

The Harlot Singers
As I'm sure everyone else has already seen these it's sort of silly that I'm posting them but just in case you didn't click those links on Stephanie's blog, here they are. You gotta listen because they are so funny!

Just a little
There really isn't much going on here, just working on the same few projects. I added the Pomatomus sock last week and now that I've finally got the pattern figured out I'm just about to start the heel of the first sock.
I know it is pretty short but I'm making them sport length because that is what the recipient likes to wear. And because I'm really hating the yarn. It feels very rough and scratchy and the swatch I washed didn't soften up...so I'm unhappy with it.
I've been doing just a bit of other crafting this week as well. I saw these on another blog and just had to have one.
As knitters we always need to be able to jot down changes to our projects, ideas for new designs ...or heck the grocery list. These started out just like the blue one in the back of the photo and now I think they are destined to go to swap partners.
I also made a few scissor charms to take with me since I'm going to a scrapbook retreat. We'll see if the ladies there think they are as cute as I do.
Imbolc (mystery shawl 7) is growing, I'm working on clue 3 now but almost done. The larger the chart got was starting to mess with my eyes and I kept messing up but I think I finally found a way to keep my place. And I'm so proud that I can at least listen to podcasts while I work on it so it's not as much of a quiet knit anymore. Sometimes silence is deafening.
Well that's all for me for today. I promise I'll be posting again before I leave next week.

Now I've seen it all
If you haven't heard about the pregnant man take a look at the link. Mr Beatie used to be a female but had a sex change operation. He chose to keep his sex organs in hopes of having a child some day...and now he's made history.
