A new war is waging...

and you don't want to be caught in the cross needles. Yes, that's right, I'm talking about Sock Wars III. I received my Top Secret Dossier on Friday with the name of my victim and am knitting my fingers off.

I admit I had a rough start with the pattern, as many other warriors did. But I think I've finally gotten it..at least I've got something that I think is right and it's pretty so we are gonna go with it. There will be pictures but not today as I'm in the home stretch of completing my first sock. (and there is the fact that although my camera has arrived, I no longer remember what I did with the cord) The second sock should go much faster.

On another note, can someone tell me how I would go about responding to comments? I always enjoy getting emails from other bloggers to whom I have commented. But for the life of me, I can't figure out how to send my commenters emails and it is making me feel rude.

Do you have email notification for comments sent up on you blog? It tells you when a comment needs to be published and then a second email is sent to you that confirms the published comment. Sometimes you can respond to the comments by just replying to the publish confirmation. The confirmation will come to your email as an email with a name on it that you can just reply to, other times it will come with the name "noreply" and obviously you can't then. In those cases I try to follow the commenter's profile which is sometimes linked in the notification email and look for an email there or go to their blog.

I'm not real sure how to sent that stuff I did it so long ago and honestly didn't know what I doing at the time. I bet someone else would be able to explain it better and quicker than I. If no one steps up to the plate give me a shout and I'll figure it out for you.

Good luck in the Sock Wars!

I can't wait to see pictures of the socks!

Usually, if you click on a commenter's name in your comments, their email will appear; if not that, then their blog address should be there. Tracy's got better details than I do, though -- why am I typing this? lol

Hi, Kelley! I'm (finally!) putting together my Pay It Forward knitting (I know, much later than I'd thought), and I'm sending out a questionnaire to my four recipients, and I realize I don't have your email address! Do you mind emailing me at jahlersATcsusmDOTedu with it? :)
